Today’s guest is Emmy Award Winning Video Producer, John Tipton. John currently works as a Broadcast Producer & Editor at Crimson Tide Productions and has over 15 years of experience in video production and marketing combined. John also works as a Technical Director & Director for live-venue productions at Alabama, working on content for Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and Softball. He is a producer, editor & videographer for game highlights, intro videos, recruiting videos and student athlete features. 

In today’s episode John speaks all about his sports video production journey, as well as sharing many useful tips and strategies he has learned along the way. John takes us through his role in Alabama and shares how he overcomes his struggles that fall in his path. John’s the executive producer of the online Emmy award winning web series “Pride On Ice”, and shares his stories from his experience filming and traveling with the Golden Gophers Hockey team. This episode goes deep into the world of video editing and post production workflow. He walked us step-by-step through several different types of productions he works on and how he turn around an edit efficiently and effectively.
